Orbie
An Orb Weaving Spider, elected to make her claim
in my homely garden, so I've given her a name.
Decided to call her Orbie, been with me for a year
skilfully weaving her web, so intricate and sheer.
Amazing little arachnid, when she traps and kills her prey
what she can't eat now, she'll save for another day.
I'm told when she has babies, sadly she'll pass away
so I hope her little off-spring, will hang around and stay.
